19By Nyasha ChumaHARARE — LEADING hospitality outfit, Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG) Limited, has declared a US$1,250,000 interim dividend for the half-year ended June 30, 2026 demonstrating continued operational resilience and sustained commitment to delivering value to shareholders.According to a corporate notice issued by the company secretary Tapiwa Mari on Thursday, the board approved the interim payout following a positive financial performance during the six-month period.The capital return shows the hospitality giant’s ability to navigate macroeconomic shifts while maintaining robust cash generation across its premier portfolio of hotel, conferencing and leisure properties.The dividend payout will be distributed as a dual-currency blend comprising United States Dollars (USD) and local currency, Zimbabwe Gold (ZWG). Under the declared terms, shareholders will receive 0.026 US cents per share alongside 0.630 ZWG cents per share.“Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Rainbow Tourism Group Limited has declared an interim dividend,” the notice read.RTG’s portfolio includes flagship assets such as Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre in Harare, Holiday Inn Mutare, Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel, and Great Zimbabwe Hotel, as well as the iconic Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel.
