Three critically injured in Mooi River bakkie crash

Three people are fighting for their lives after a single-vehicle crash on the R622 in Mooi River. Midlands EMS crews found the three occupants with critical injuries after they were allegedly ejected from the back of a bakkie during the crash. All three patients received advanced life support treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital.

One patient required assisted ventilation and was placed on a manual ventilator during the journey. The circumstances surrounding the crash are not yet known and will be investigated by authorities.
