“This audit will not only be a technical assessment; it will be a reflection of our commitment to operational safety, compliance and the international credibility of our aviation sector,” said Ribeiro. As the event focused on reviewing activities carried out by the Mozambican Civil Aviation Authority during the first half of 2026, the Permanent Secretary recognised and congratulated the work undertaken by the IACM Board of Directors, management and employees in regulating, supervising and ensuring operational safety, while stressing that more is expected.
“We expect you to leave this room with clear targets for the second half of the year, with an action plan. Our objective is a single one: to emerge from the 2027 audit with a result that enhances Mozambique’s standing,” she said.
