In an urgent High Court application, Primefast (Pty) Ltd and JS Beef (Pty) Ltd, through their lawyers Makuyana Legal Practice, claim that the government is blocking them from exporting cattle and beef while the domestic market struggles to absorb production. The two firms argue that instead of finding alternative export destinations, authorities have left producers with no viable market, pushing businesses towards financial ruin.
