Gov’t accused of shutting gate to beef export markets

The beef companies, JS Beef (Pty) Ltd and Primefast (Pty) Ltd, are accusing authorities of strangling their businesses through prolonged Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) restrictions. At the centre of the dispute is a series of FMD control measures imposed since January this year.
