Vumbunu sisters, co-accused appear in court for routine remand

THREE women, two of them sisters to the infamous Vumbunu brothers who have been implicated in the Ecobank US$4 million heist, appeared in court today for routine remand for armed robbery charges involving US$25 840.

Sekai Vumbunu, Georgina Vumbunu and Florence Chisiri appeared before Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Mark Dzira. They are all self-actors.

Representing the State, Siphiwe Mhlanga stated that the matter is not yet ready for commencement of trial.
