PACO – Local Content & Procurement hereby informs its partners, participants, sponsors, exhibitors, and all stakeholders that the 2nd Local Content & Procurement Conference, initially scheduled for May 28, 2026, in the city of Vilankulo, Inhambane Province, has been postponed to a new date to be announced in due course. This decision follows the current national context marked by fuel shortages and logistical constraints, which have significantly affected the mobility of companies, institutions, and participants from different parts of the country. In recent days, several companies and partners have expressed concern regarding operational and logistical limitations in ensuring their effective participation in the event.

We fully understand this situation given the current circumstances. Considering that this Conference was designed as a national platform focused on delivering concrete results, strategic networking, active company participation, B2B meetings, and the generation of real opportunities for SMEs and communities, we believe this is the most responsible moment to postpone the event. This will ensure better conditions for participation, mobility, and overall impact for all stakeholders involved.

The new date of the Conference will be announced soon, in coordination with strategic partners and sector stakeholders. PACO deeply appreciates the understanding, trust, and continued support of all partners, companies, and participants who have been following this initiative.
