Danny K’s wife Lisa Koppel dies at 41

South African musician Daniel “Danny K” Koppel’s wife, Lisa Koppel, has died at the age of 41, according to a report byNews24. “His wife’s name is Lisa. Yes, she passed away,” Pam Koppel told News24.

The family has indicated that it will not be issuing a public statement regarding Lisa Koppel’s death. The cause of death and the circumstances surrounding it have not been disclosed. According to News24, Lisa Koppel was the daughter of prominent divorce lawyer Billy Gundelfinger.

She initially pursued a career in modelling before studying law. She obtained an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa) and was admitted as an advocate of the High Court in 2010. At the time of her death, she was working as an associate at Billy Gundelfinger Attorneys, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Danny K and Lisa Koppel were married in Somerset West in the Western Cape in 2012. The couple shared three children. Pam Koppel told News24 that the family would not be commenting further on the matter.
