LUCIA ‘Lucy Bardie’ Mazhou’s was hired for make-up work for the performers of Baba Harare’s new song, ‘Sisi Viola’. But, what started as a routine make-up assignment quickly became something quite big. When she arrived at the venue, the original performer didn’t turn up for the video shoot.

“The second day of shooting is when I was fully prepared, hair done and a proper outfit. For Lucia, the Sisi Viola project wasn’t just a role, it was a transformation, the kind make-up artists dream about. “Working with Baba Harare and his team on the ‘Tsa tsa tsa’ (Sisi Viola) project was so much fun. “We had people coming out of their houses to come and see us working.”
