AWARD-WINNING musician Ammara Brown believes her forthcoming second studio album, “Flaming Lily” is a reflection of personal growth over the past seven years. She described the project as an honest account of the experiences that have shaped both her life and career. Ammara announced her ‘Flaming Lily’ project nearly a year ago while she was pregnant with her second child, Azina Adele.
The music diva said the 12-track album allowed her to share a deeply personal journey with listeners, touching on themes of love, heartbreak, joy, vulnerability, strength and self-discovery. Ammara said ‘Flaming Lily; brings together a body of work that reflects her evolution as an artist and as a woman. Ammara said ‘Flaming Lily’ embraces the different seasons of life and tells stories that many people will identify with.
“For me, ‘Flaming Lily’ is about embracing all the different seasons of life and allowing myself to tell those stories honestly.“There is love, there is heartbreak, there are moments of joy, vulnerability, strength and growth. “These are experiences that make us human, and I believe that everyone will find a piece of themselves somewhere in this album.” The music diva said ‘Flaming Lily’ represents a significant period of reflection and growth in her life. “This album is very close to my heart because it comes after a long journey.

“I have grown so much as a person and as an artist since my first album, and ‘Flaming Lily’ allows me to share some of that journey with my audience. “It is personal, but at the same time, I believe the stories are universal,” she said. Chido Musasiwa, Ammara’s manager said the album intentionally moves across different emotional and musical spaces.“’Flaming Lily’ is multidimensional in the sense that it has different feels.
It is a very personal album where Ammara talks about her life journey. “Every song will be able to touch somebody in one way or another, whether it is a love story, a heartbreak or a joyful moment.
