The four-day meeting aims to strengthen coordination, planning, monitoring, evaluation and statistical information management within the Mineral Resources and Energy Sector, with a view to preparing the 2027 Economic and Social Plan and State Budget (PESOE) through a participatory and coordinated process. The opening session was led by MIREME’s Director of Planning and Cooperation, Marcelina Joel, who underscored the critical importance of the meeting in a decisive year for the sector’s public management, with particular emphasis on key legislative and structural reforms, including the approval of the new Local Content Law, the revised Mining Law and Petroleum Law, and the work under way to prepare their respective implementing regulations.
