Mozambique: Fuel price information circulating not official – ARENE

The Energy Regulatory Authority (ARENE) has drawn the attention of the public to the circulation of information on the fuel price structure in the country, disseminated by an external source and therefore not constituting an official communication.

ARENE further clarifies that it carries out a monthly procedure with fuel distributors to ensure compliance with regulatory and fiscal requirements. This procedure, the Energy Regulatory Authority explains, allows fuel distributors to close their accounts based on officially approved prices.
