Kabwe Warriors coach George Chilufya has survived a road accident with minor injuries.Warriors have confirmed that Chilufya is admitted to Northern Command Hospital in Ndola.”Kabwe Warriors Football Club wishes to inform the public and all stakeholders about a road traffic accident that occurred on Friday evening at 19:00 hrs near Nyeyenzi area in Ndola Rural,” the club said in a statement.”The accident involved our Head Coach, Mr. George Chilufya, and Mr. Francis Chiponyo, an employee of Zambia Railways.
Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were immediately admitted to Northern Command Hospital in Itawa, Ndola.” Chilufya and Chiponyo are out of danger and are receiving medical care.”Their condition is stable, and they continue to be monitored closely by medical professionals.The Kabwe Warriors Football Club extends its gratitude to the emergency response teams, medical staff, and members of the public who rendered assistance during this difficult time.
