AN 80-year-old Kaunda Square woman was visibly furious and erupted in the Chelstone Local Court, shouting that all she wanted was money, after the magistrate ruled that she would not be paid following a heated confrontation in which her neighbour allegedly called her a witch. This is in a matter where Titumenji Phiri has dragged her neighbour, 65-year-old White Simfukwe of Kaunda Square, to court for defamation of character after he accused her of witchcraft, following an incident in which Simfukwe confronted her grandchildren, accusing them of dumping rubbish on the road and insulting them.
In her testimony before Magistrate Charity Milambo, Titumenji said the matter escalated when Simfukwe confronted her at her veranda, accused her of throwing rubbish, and… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
