Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia (ACSZ) President Rene Lourens says over twenty countries are expected to exhibit at this year’s 98th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show. Speaking when he featured on a Tv interview, Mr Lourens said this year’s show which starts on July 29th to 3rd August 2026 has attracted more participation from countries within the continent and beyond. He cited India, China, Germany, and Czech Republic as some of the countries expected to exhibit at this year’s show being held under the theme “fostering trade and investment.” Mr Lourens pointed out that the participation of foreign exhibitors is vital as they often bring new technologies and innovations.
He said through the innovations and technologies, it gives Zambians an opportunity to learn from other countries. Mr Lourens further indicated that the participation of foreign exhibitors enables local exhibitors to exchange ideas and create relationships for trade and investment. He also revealed that 1,400 exhibitors are taking part in this year’s 98th Agricultural and Commercial show.
Meanwhile, Mr Lourens has urged members of the public to attend this year’s show for various products and services that will be showcased. He assured that the show society has put in place stringent measures to ensure that security is tightened. And speaking on this year’s ticket pricing, Mr Lourens announced that pre‑sale tickets are pegged at 50 Kwacha, while daily entry will cost 70 Kwacha.

He further stated that badges for the entire show period stand at 300 Kwacha for adults and 100 Kwacha for children. Exhibitors’ badges have been set at 270 Kwacha, while VIP badges are priced at 700 Kwacha.
