Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, Bulawayo police spokesperson, confirmed the suspect entered the octogenarian’s living quarters and made inappropriate advances before turning violent when rejected.

Emergency services transported the injured man to a medical facility, where he received treatment for the deep laceration.
Police have not disclosed the relationship between the victim and his alleged attacker, but confirm they were acquainted.
Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.
