Timeline of Jadel FC2019: Jadel Football Academy was founded in Beijing by former professional player Walter Musanhu.
The club was established with a mission to nurture young football talent through comprehensive grassroots programs and personal development. 2022-2023: The academy began expanding its activities and competitions, both in China and through its Zimbabwe branch.
Young players from Zimbabwe traveled to China for tournaments and vice versa, building the club’s global training and exchange network. 2024: Jadel FC became increasingly visible through participation in major youth competitions.
In August 2024, the Under-11 side won the 100 Cup tournament in Beijing, China.
The team was recognized as the best managed side, and coach Walter Musanhu was voted coach of the tournament.
Player Liam Moyo was named top scorer of the event.
The partnership with Scottland Football Club in Zimbabwe was also announced to support player development.
August 2025: Jadel Football Academy dispatched five age-group teams, with about 150 players from China, Zimbabwe, Japan, and other regions, to compete in the Baidui Cup (Beijing’s iconic youth football tournament), growing its reputation further.
Players from both the China and Zimbabwe branches actively participated, and the academy prepared for more international exchanges, including an upcoming tour to Zimbabwe for Chinese players.
Ongoing: The club continues to promote youth development, anti-drug, anti-racism, and child protection campaigns, and invests in holistic training and international exposure for its athletes.
Walter’s deep commitment to nurturing talent and character shines through the academy’s holistic approach.
Starting with kids as young as nine years old, Jadel FC offers comprehensive training and development with the aim to produce footballers and individuals who stand out not only for their skills on the pitch but also for their leadership and positive values off it.
Inspired by global football development models, the academy blends grassroots initiatives with international exposure—sending players to tournaments and training programs worldwide.
