Zimbabwe Removed from Global Hunger Hotspot List

The World Food Programme (WFP) and FAO have officially removed Zimbabwe from the list of global hunger hotspots. This comes after improved food distribution strategies helped millions affected by the El Niño-induced drought earlier this year.

While challenges remain, humanitarian officials say the situation has stabilized enough to merit the removal. Continued support and resilience-building remain critical for long-term food security.
