Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) chairperson Jessie Majome told the Daily News on Thursday that the commission had recently communicated with South Africa’s Public Protector in efforts to curb growing anti-immigrant hostility. “We have been in touch with South Africa’s Public Protector this week to address the worsening situation,” Majome said.
The move comes as the South African vigilante group, Operation Dudula, continues to target foreign nationals in the country. 🔗
