Mahachi was acquitted in a Zimbabwean court of attempting to murder his four-year-old son, posting a statement on his official Instagram account, lashing out at his accusers.
The horrifying images were all over social media of Mahachi’s son allegedly having an amputated leg, leaving him with sores on his body.
Mahachi allegedly assaulted his son with an iron bar and scalded his body with boiling water.
According to the reports, Mahachi said in the court that the toddler had been diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis (also known as flesh-eating disease).
After he was acquitted, Mahachi, in that lengthy statement on his social media account, said:
