harare – in a positive development for women’s football, the zimbabwe football association (zifa) has arranged friendly matches for the senior national women’s team, the mighty warriors. according to the herald, the mighty warriors will travel to malawi later this month to participate in a four nations tournament. the competition will feature hosts malawi, south africa, zambia and zimbabwe. zifa vice president loveness mukura confirmed the team’s participation. “i can confirm that the mighty warriors will play in a four-team, high-profile tournament that will feature south africa, zambia, and the hosts malawi in lilongwe from november 29 to december 2,” mukura said.
