Judith Phiri, Zimpapers WriterTHE Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a slight downward review of fuel prices in local currency, effective August 8 until September 4, 2025.Diesel 50 dropped from ZWG 41.63 to ZWG 41.40 per litre, while Blend (E20) slid from ZWG 42.04 to ZWG 41.68. The US dollar prices remain steady at US$1.55 for Diesel 50 and US$1.56 for Blend (E20).“The prices are for August 2025 based on M-1 and will be effective up to September 4,” ZERA said, adding that operators may sell below the prescribed prices depending on trading advantages.The current ethanol blending ratio stands firm at 20 percent (E20), a policy compulsory since 2011 to encourage biofuels.Petroleum dealers are reminded to clearly display prices as per fuel pricing regulations and strictly adhere to the blending ratio.Share on FacebookPost on XFollow usSave
