By Violet MashongaZANU PF Youth Chairman for Mashonaland West Province, Cde Tapiwa Masenda has taken a proactive step toward supporting education by donating 100 pairs of school shoes to pupils at Chihwiti Primary School in Makonde Constituency. The gesture was warmly received by Hon. Simbarashe Ziyambi, the Member of Parliament for Makonde, who commended the initiative as a meaningful contribution to improving students’ confidence and academic performance.
“When children have proper school gear, they feel more dignified and motivated to excel,” he said. Chihwiti Primary School headmaster also expressed appreciation, noting that the donation would inspire learners and enhance their commitment to schoolwork. The initiative reflects the Second Republic’s inclusive education agenda, which seeks to uplift disadvantaged communities and ensure no learner is left behind.
