PROFESSOR Muna Ndulo has noted that one of the country’s shortcomings is its excessive dependency on donors, even though much can be achieved using its own resources and efforts. He adds that he sees this in many Zambian NGOs, where the mentality of dependence is so high that when donors pull out, the organisations simply collapse. On the SAIPAR podcast celebrating the organisation’s 20th anniversary, Professor Ndulo, who is the founder, described himself as a lifelong student.
He remarked that even after decades of teaching, he still learns from young researchers and their discoveries.
