we have mobilised food and roofing sheets, this is in addition to our feeding programme that is ongoing,” cde gundu said.“as proportion councillors, we were chosen to represent the once marginalised groups of the society, that is the women and children and the most affected in the storm were these groups, so we found it in us to mobilise these resources,” gwanda councillor, cde talethia moyo added.the move is set to restore the houses to the state they were in before the storm.“after we were called, we saw it fit in our corporate social responsibility to give the roofing sheets for all the houses and the material needed,” bhungani investment’s manager, mrs priscilla vundla noted.young women 4ed has rolled out several empowerment projects in communities and these include poultry and the goat pass-on scheme.
