WWE Legend Hulk Hogan Dead at 71: Cause of Death Revealed
WWE legend Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, has died. He was 71.
Hogan rose to prominence as the most iconic professional wrestler of the 1980s and 1990s, eventually achieving widespread crossover fame beyond the ring.
After making his debut in 1977, he quickly emerged as the face of the industry—captivating audiences with his larger-than-life charisma, signature moves, and “Hulkamania” catchphrase that became a pop culture staple.
Hulk Hogan was found unresponsive at his Clearwater, Florida, home on the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025.
According toTMZ, emergency responders were called to the scene following a reported cardiac arrest.
He was carried out on a stretcher and transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.

There had been growing speculation about Hogan’s health in recent months. In June, a representative toldTMZ Sportsthat the wrestling legend had been dealing with some ailments but was “back to moving” after rumours suggested he was unwell.
