HARARE —ZimDancehall prodigy Winky D and Jamaican dancehall heavyweight Busy Signal have dropped a sizzling surprise collaboration titled “Drink Up.” The track, released unexpectedly over the weekend, comes with an AI-generated music video. The single, first teased as “Let’s Link Up and Drink Up Tonight,” celebrates unity, music, and good vibes. It perfectly captures the festive mood as fans gear up for the grand Castle Braai finale.
Rumours of a Winky D–Busy Signal collaboration had been circulating since August. Few expected the surprise drop just days after their joint performance. “Winky D just proved ZimDancehall belongs on the global stage,” one fan posted It features digital versions of both artists performing in a virtual mashup of Kingston and Harare — holographic dancers, neon-lit streets, and a crowd raising their drinks in celebration.
The collabo comes as Castle Lager rolls out its nationwide Micro Braai events. These are building up to the 10-year anniversary celebration at Glamis Arena.
