By Business Reporter-WestProp Holdings has officially broken ground onPomona Flats, a landmark residential development that signals the launch of its visionary US$4 billionPomona Cityproject, a bold smart-city initiative set to transform the urban experience in Harare.
Dubbed “a city within a city,” Pomona City is strategically located next to Wingate Golf Club and near Harare’s fast-growing Green Zone. Anchored in the globally trending “15-minute city” concept, it promises residents convenient access to schools, parks, healthcare, shopping, and workplaces — all within a short walk from home.

Pomona Flats is the first high-rise development in Harare North within an integrated mixed-use enclave. Prices for apartments start at US$70,000, with one- to three-bedroomed units available.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on July 29, WestProp ChairmanDr. Michael Louissaid Pomona Flats was not just another housing project, but the cornerstone of an ambitious vision to redefine Zimbabwean urban living.
