We respect AFCON final decision – Babitseng

Senegal won the January 18 final after a brief walkout to protest the referee’s decision to award Morocco a penalty. However, the Senegalese players returned to complete the match with goalkeeper, Eduardo Mendy, saving Brahim Diaz’s Panenka penalty. But after exactly two months, CAF’s Appeal Board ruled that Morocco and not Senegal had won the final, citing Article 84 of the AFCON regulations on forfeiture.

For too long, the state of many public schools has been a source of shame. We have all seen the pictures and heard the stories of broken windows, unreliable water and electricity, topped by classrooms that are not fit for proper learning. The establishment of the Education Infrastructure and Management Company Ltd (EIMC) signals that authorities are finally ready to take this problem seriously. We must commend the government for this initiative….
