THE Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Zambia says the improvement in power supply has renewed hope for businesses, stating that if this stability continues, it will boost economic activities. In an interview, Monday, the Association’s Director of Economics and Research, Yona Musukwa, said the organisation hoped the improved electricity situation was not a temporary measure. “We are very happy with the current improved power supply situation.
We think it is a very good move, at least our people can now do work, unlike during the long hours that the country was experiencing previously. The situation has given renewed hope to businesses, especially SMEs.
