Tadzie Madzima shines as a transformative leader from Zimbabwe, dedicating her life to empowering youth and igniting purpose in communities facing limited opportunities. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, she grew up observing the struggles of brilliant young people lacking guidance, which fueled her unyielding drive for change.Her educational journey took her through a degree in International Relations, where she gained critical insights into social development and global challenges that profoundly shaped her vision for youth empowerment. In 2018, driven by this passion, Tadzie founded the IGNITE Youth Organisation, a groundbreaking initiative that provides purpose-driven career counseling, mentorship, life skills training, and holistic development to marginalized communities.
Through its innovative Purpose Curriculum, the organization has touched over 30,000 youths and trained more than 600 leaders, with over 60% being young women, fostering resilience, innovation, and community transformation. As a multi-award-winning life and career coach, marketing expert, and consultant, Tadzie has garnered prestigious honors including Social Entrepreneur of the Year at the Zimbabwe Community News Trailblazers Awards, Gold and Platinum awards at the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network Women Leadership Awards, and the Forty Under 40 Africa Community Development Award. She also holds the distinction of being a Mandela Washington Fellow and has trained over 300 global social entrepreneurs in marketing and storytelling.
Her philosophy that “leadership is service” permeates her work, extending from individual coaching to amplifying voices in international forums on youth and women’s empowerment.
