Babina Noko have been one of the standout stories of the campaign, with their strong early-season form placing them firmly among the league’s frontrunners.
Currently third on the table and just three points behind leaders Orlando Pirates — who hold a game in hand — Eric Tinkler’s side remain well within reach of the title race. With a high-profile clash against Pirates looming this Saturday, Sekhukhune still control much of their own destiny. However, their immediate focus is on Stellenbosch, who will be energised under new coach Gavin Hunt.
The Cape Winelands side will be looking to make a statement in their first game under Hunt. Sekhukhune have found Stellenbosch a tricky opponent this season. After a somewhat inconsistent run leading up to the international break, Tinkler’s men will be keen to restart the campaign on a high, regain momentum, and maintain their push for the title.
