New Sekhukhune United signing Bradley Mojela will be hoping for more consistent playing time with the Limpopo outfit after a major injury setback . Picture: BackpagePix Sekhukhune United have shown little sign of slowing down in the transfer market, continuing where they left off in the early-season window with the signing of Stellenbosch FC midfielder Bradley Mojela. The 29-year-old arrives in Limpopo after a difficult period with the Cape Winelands outfit, where a long-term injury hampered his progress and limited his contributions as Stellenbosch found themselves hovering uncomfortably close to the relegation zone in the early parts of this season.
Mojela’s arrival is expected to add further depth and experience to Eric Tinkler’s side as Babina Noko continue their push at the top of the table. Sekhukhune are firmly in the title race and currently trail Orlando Pirates by just three points, with the midfield reinforcement coming at a crucial stage of the season. The club announced Mojela’s signing shortly after parting ways with former Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm.
Timm, who spent less than a season at the club after leaving the Buccaneers, has since dropped down to the first division, completing a move to Cape Town City. Elsewhere, AmaZulu have also strengthened their squad with the addition of Harare-born defensive midfielder Mason Mushore. The 24-year-old joins Usuthu on a permanent deal from Zimbabwean top-flight side Highlanders FC.

Mushore links up with fellow countryman and striker Thando Ngwenya as AmaZulu look to consolidate their position in fifth place and build on what has been a solid campaign so far. In a statement released by club president Sandile Zungu, AmaZulu expressed confidence in the midfielder’s ability to add value to the squad. “We welcome Mason to the AmaZulu family and are confident that he will add value and prove himself in our midfield,” Zungu said. “Mushore is a defensive midfielder known for his solid ball control and composure at the heart of midfield and is expected to provide valuable depth to the Arthur Zwane-coached side,” the statement concluded.
