During his time at Chiefs, he made forty-eight appearances across all competitions. He also enjoyed a brief stint in Portugal’s Primeira Liga with Vitória Setúbal, making his debut against FC Porto, before returning to South Africa to play for Bidvest Wits in 2020. Across his career, Sekgota has accumulated 161 appearances, scoring six goals and registering ten assists.
