Chiefs won their fourth game in a row when they beat TS Galaxy 2-0 at FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as they continued to establish their aspirations of finishing third on the log, potentially behind Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

Their victory over Galaxy also saw them surpass the 40-point tally for the first time since the 2022/23 season, in which they amassed 44 points after 30 rounds of matches.They are now on 42 points. Speaking at the post-match press conference following that win over bogey side Galaxy, Kaze revealed the secret behind their already improved tally from the last two seasons. “I think we are here to serve the club,” Kaze said.

“I think the consistency has been lacking a little bit because last season, we could only win one or two games at maximum in a row. That consistency of having a run of three or four games was lacking.”
