The boys are hungry,” declared Meki, oozing confidence ahead of the blockbuster clash.Mazwi were equally ruthless, thrashing hosts Old Mutual by eight wickets in their semi-final to book their ticket to the big dance.Tournament director Kennedy Chitsaka was all smiles.
“Everything has gone according to the script. It’s the final we all hoped for.”The showdown has drawn top brass with Deputy Minister of Sport Emily Jesaya gracing the event as Guest of Honour. Also spotted on the boundary ropes were SRC board member David Simba and Deputy Director in the Ministry of Sport Isaiah Mpofu.
