Deadly Nigeria crash leaves two dead, boxing icon Anthony Joshua survives. British heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road traffic collision in Ogun State, Nigeria, on Monday that left two people dead, local authorities and international outlets reported. Police saidJoshuasustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he was described as stable.

The 36-year-old former world champion was travelling as a passenger in a Lexus SUV on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway near Makun when the vehicle reportedly collided with a stationary truck, according to Nigerian media and eyewitness accounts.
