After over a month of fighting for his life, a 22-year-old man, who was stabbed in the head over a thunee game, has sadly died away in hospital. Since then, the accused, Mahendra Ramadhar, had appeared in the Chatsworth Magistrates Court on numerous occasions, before being granted bail of R1, 000. On Thursday morning, Keith’s father, Ashlin Govender, shared a message that read: Keith is currently in ICU and the doctor told us that he has septicemia and its affecting his chest and kidney.
“Please keep him in prayer as they are giving him antibiotics to help clear this infection.” “We are calling for the accused to receive life imprisonment- his actions over a simple card game has lead to the death of our beloved son. He must be locked up,” the father added.
