VACANCY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Peacock Blue Pty Ltd, a respected and longestablished maizemeal milling company in Pitsane, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Manager to lead its operations.

This senior role requires a handson leader with deep industry expertise, strong operational discipline, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage full milling operations to ensure consistent product quality and optimal production output* Implement and maintain strong costcontrol measures across all operational areas* Oversee procurement, production planning, maintenance, and quality assurance functions* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime* Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, including implementation, monitoring, and continuous adherence* Strengthen operational systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance* Provide strategic leadership to teams and report directly to the Board on performance and growth opportunities* ⁠Minimum Requirements:* 10+ years of proven experience in maizemeal and grain milling operations* Strong technical knowledge of milling processes, product quality (especially on Sorghum & Maize meal), and plant efficiencies* Demonstrated ability to manage and reduce operational costs* Strong Knowledge in ISO standards and implementation is required* Strong leadership, communication, and decisionmaking capabilities⁠How to ApplyQualified candidates are invited to submit their CV and a brief cover letter to deepakv@tmb.co.bw (Deepak Venugopal)
