Manenberg crime fighters told the Cape Argus sister publication, Daily Voice that the incident was linked to another flare-up in a turf war between Fancy Boy gang members and Hard Livings. Manenberg station commander Brigadier Jayce Naidoo said that occupants of a black Hyundai Atos accosted two men standing on the corner of Duinefontein and Turfhall Road.
