The prosecutor, Mr Tafara Dzimbanhete, told the court that on July 9 at around 3AM, the trio broke into an office at Haswell Readymix Concrete Products in Kelvin West, Bulawayo.
They allegedly stole a 25. 6-volt lithium battery (model AT 25120) and a 24-volt Ecco inverter before fleeing.
On August 7 at around 9PM, the three allegedly targeted High Space Supermarket in Magwegwe.
They are accused of breaking a window pane to gain entry before stealing a Conder Energy Model S2 500 inverter, an HZ 48-volt lithium battery and various groceries.
A police report was made, leading to the arrest of the three men and the recovery of some stolen items, including the Conder Energy inverter and the HZ 48-volt battery, which were positively identified by the complainant.
The total value of stolen goods was US$4 847, 35, with property worth US$2 700 recovered.
