According to SAWS, South Africans can expect a mixed bag of weather conditions this Easter weekend, with coastal showers and mild inland temperatures. South Africans can expect cooler temperatures and scattered showers on Wednesday, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS). The forecast points to partly cloudy skies with cool to warm conditions, along with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in parts of the country.
Wednesday temperatures in major South African cities Cooler conditions across much of the interior, especially in Gauteng and the Free State. There will be warmer, humid weather along the east coast, with Durban peaking at 30°C. Mild to cool conditions are expected in the Western Cape, with Cape Town around 21°C.
Scattered showers and thundershowers possible, particularly over central and eastern regions. Midweek weather will bring a noticeable cool-down for many inland areas, while the east coast remains warm and humid. Although no severe warnings have been highlighted, afternoon showers and thundershowers could develop in parts of the country.
