HARARE – Greece-based Zimbabwe national team forward Tinotenda Kadewere has suffered a knee injury setback ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), a blow that could see him miss the prestigious continental tournament set for December in Morocco.
Reports indicate that the 29-year-old striker tore the medial meniscus in his right knee during a training session last week and has since undergone surgery.
In a statement, his Greek club Aris Thessaloniki confirmed the development and expressed disappointment over the timing of the injury.
