THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has dispelled a statement alleging that the country is experiencing a diesel crisis, stating that the country has sufficient diesel stocks. ERB Public Relations Manager Namukolo Kasumpa says the intermittent supply patterns observed in certain locations are not a result of national stock shortages but logistical and distributional challenges that occasionally arise within the supply chain. In a statement, Thursday, Kasumpa said these are normal operational occurrences in fuel supply systems worldwide, and the relevant entities consistently resolve them within reasonable time frames.
