The Botswana Vaccine Institute (BVI) is set to make a high-impact appearance at the Zimbabwe Association of Dairy Farmers (ZADF) Expo and annual general meeting (AGM), scheduled for July 22–23 in the capital Harare, where key stakeholders in agriculture and animal health will converge Recognised across the region for its excellence in livestock vaccine production, BVI has been invited by ZADF in recognition of its pivotal role in combating livestock diseases—particularly foot and mouth disease (FMD)—and in strengthening dairy farming resilience The Expo will be officially graced by Zimbabwe’s Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Dr Anxious Masuka, who will deliver a keynote address “Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Andrew Madeswi, has been invited to address the AGM on the role of BVI in supporting regional FMD control efforts,” BVI confirmed
“Mr Madeswi will share insights on BVI’s success story as a World Organisation for Animal Health reference laboratory, as well as issues of compliance to quality standards in the pharmaceutical sector.”
