Freeman RazembaSenior ReporterA 28-year-old suspected armed robber who was part of a six-man gang that raided a tuckshop in Zengeza 4, Chitungwiza, on Tuesday before stealing US$380 cash and a cellphone has been arrested.Police are now looking for five other suspects in connection with the case.In a statement, national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest.“The ZRP confirms the arrest of Lewis Kanyenze, aged 28, in connection with a case of robbery which occurred in Chitungwiza on October 28, 2025,” he said.“The suspect, together with five accomplices who were armed with unidentified pistols, allegedly attacked a complainant at a grocery tuckshop in Zengeza 4.“The suspects threatened to shoot the complainant while demanding cash, and went on to steal US$380 and a cellphone.
