The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) recovered a Nissan Navara, valued at R900 000 and reported stolen in Krugersdorp, during an evening operation on April 12, while soldiers were on foot patrol around the T-junction in the Malala Drift area in Limpopo. According to Captain Moses Semono, members of the South African Tank Regiment, deployed under Joint Tactical Headquarters Limpopo, were conducting day-and-night border security operations aimed at preventing illegal cross-border movement. After verification with the police in Tshamutumbu, a sergeant confirmed the vehicle had been stolen in Krugersdorp.
It was subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation and processing. In a related operation at the Support Base near the Beitbridge Point of Entry, 18 undocumented persons, including two minors, were arrested and handed over to immigration authorities.
