BULAWAYO – Comedian and popular MC Babongile Sikhonjwa who worked for Star FM as a DJ has passed away at the age of 49, his family confirmed. The sought after MC was a cultural icon from Bulawayo who was affectionately nicknamed the “Ndebele RockStar”. According to reports Sikhonjwa was visiting a friend when he suddenly collapsed.
He was rushed to the United Bulawayo Hospitals but was pronounced dead on arrival.
