SIXTEEN models are set to show off their ramp skills as they vie for the top spot at this year’s Miss Tourism Zimbabwe contest whose finale will be held on Saturday in Harare. The models are Lisa Kwainona, Beautify Siziba, Vimbainashe Mutyavaviri, Zanele Moyo, Rutendo Magade, Zandile Sibanda, Ropafadzo P Manyanga, Alexis Thuthani, Ruvarashe Jane Darare, Miriraiishe Magebede, Petronella Phiri, Letween Pikire, Noxolo Dube, Kathleen Chaziya, Mavhu Alexandra Kaseke and Silence Tadzembwa. The models matron/chaperone Boitshepo Shumba said all is set for the finale with models geared up for a showdown.

“Our objective is to provide a high quality representation of Zimbabwean beauty that embodies the true colours of Zimbabwe. “The ultimate winner will participate at the Miss Tourism World Finals in China. “Preparations are almost done as the Bootcamp starts on Tuesday (today) with the grand finale marked for the 11th,” said Shumba.

Tadiwa Mtetwa was voted First Princess and the second runner-up was Kudzaishe Chimedza. Nkomo represented Zimbabwe at Miss Tourism International 2025 pageant in Malaysia. Pageantry in Zimbabwe is experiencing a powerful resurgence, transforming from simple beauty contests into influential platforms for empowerment, advocacy and national branding.
