THE Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) has disclosed that it will present findings from a pollution impact report on Sino Metals Leach Zambia Limited between December 28 and 30, 2025. On February 18, 2025, a tailings dam at Sino-Metals Leach in Chambishi collapsed, releasing approximately 50 million litres of acidic and toxic waste into the Mwambashi stream and the Kafue River ecosystem.
